Born and raised on Sand Mountain, music has always been a big part of my life. Blessed to be raised in a Christian home with parents and siblings that were and are musicians involved in and love gospel music. I grew up in a small country church helping lead music even as a small boy, attending music schools at the church and a member of the choir. I am a graduate of Boaz High School and was a member of the band. I have been leading in worship and directing choirs virtually all my adult life. My wife Phyllis and I enjoy serving the Lord at Bethany. We also enjoy spending time with our 5 grown children. We enjoy searching for antiques at estate sales, flea markets, and junk stores. But worship at Bethany is the highlight of our week. I truly enjoy working with the wonderful people “our church family” at Bethany.
